Winda Chevalier, Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mauritius and a Master’s in Accounting and Audit from IAE Nantes. She is a Licensed Auditor registered with the Financial Reporting Council as well as a Public Accountant registered with the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA).
She has over two decades of experience across audit, accounting and financial advisory, with deep expertise in financial services, banking, private equity and cross-border engagements across Mauritius and France. Over the course of her career with leading professional services firms, including KPMG France and EY Mauritius, Winda has advised clients in complex and evolving business environments and collaborated with international teams across Mauritius, France, India, South Africa, Hong Kong and Dubai.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton Mauritius, Winda was an Associate Partner at EY Mauritius for four years. Her experience encompasses assurance and advisory engagements across financial services, banking and investment businesses.
Winda has strong technical knowledge of IFRS and a particular focus on complex financial reporting and governance matters.
